Poker and women, two of the oldest and most formidable sins in the book! Which poison Is yours? Clever poker companies have consolidated the two to sponsor aesthetically pleasing and scantily clad women to promote poker games, tournaments and promos, even the World Series of Poker has been known to use eye candy!
Poker has never been classically defined as a woman’s game, this has recently been proven to be untrue. Woman hired to make the table look pretty and act as eye candy, often prove their sponsors silly and turn around and finish on the top table! The ranks of successful poker women are growing.

Well, many of the gambling online poker rooms go about employing the services of a poker pro to attract players to their rooms. Titan Poker went about employing an attractive lady to attract players to their room. And, in true Titan fashion, they went BIG and gained compliments from top casinos.So, they added Joanna Krupa, who happens to be one un-believably attractive young lass, to their program. As a spokesmodel, it's hard to find any sweeter eye-candy. Joanna graced also the pages of Playboy in June of 2005.

Joanna was born in Poland, and moved to America. She can still speak Polish fluently, and enjoys dancing and the club scene. Besides modelling, she will be trying her hand at acting, and has already appeared in several television roles.
If you've ever seen the Man Show, you may have noticed Joanna as one of the scantily clad "juggies", a role she had for one year and didn't want to have define her acting career.
In reading through the interviews she has in some of the magazines that have voted her as most beautiful girl in the world, joanna comes off as down to earth and sincere. No small feat for someone who has received such accolades. Still, when you realize that she still lives with her mom and her younger sister, you can see how family can help keep her grounded in reality.

For Karina Jett, poker is all in the family. Her mother was a successful Seven-Card Stud player who taught her poker strategy, and her husband is fellow Full Tilt Poker pro Chip Jett, one of the world's foremost tournament players. With lifetime tournament winnings of more than $129,000, Karina has booked fourth-place finishes in the 2003 WSOP $1K Ladies Hold 'em Stud tournament and the 2004 WSOP $1K Ladies Limit Hold 'em event. She also made the final table in Poker Royale: Battle of the Sexes, and took part in a history-making finish at The London Open when she and Chip became the first husband and wife to make the final table in a major tournament.

Courtney Friel, online casino poker player, poker hostess and all-around reporter, has worked with everyone from the World Poker Tour to FOX News. Along the way, she’s gathered a legion of fans with her good looks and easy charm. She can currently be seen on the news program Red Eye w/Greg Gutfeld, where she serves as a guest contributor.
She also tried playing free online casino portal games. Friel was a sports anchor and entertainment reporter for GoTV Mobile Television. She was also the host of GameStop/EBGames "EB TV" which boasted of recently released and upcoming video games. Before that, she was the co-anchor of Court TV's The Saturday Night Solution. 
The absolutely gourgous Friel has also worked as a field reporter for various networks including: E! Daisy Fuentes is a Cuban-born American model and actress and casino portal poker player. Fuentes played on the World Poker Tour in the Hollywood Home games for the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital charity. She also has designed a clothing line bearing her name, sold exclusively by Kohl's Department Stores.
In June 2007, her clothing line came under intense scrutiny after the National Labor Committee reported that they were using a Guatemalan sweatshop to produce their clothes. According to Gossip Girls, "The workers are paid only twenty-five cents to make Fuentes’ blouses which sell for $22 to $38 in the U.S." She also tried playing online poker in casino web sites.
Hugh Hefner reportedly invited Fuentes numerous times in the early 90's to pose nude in Playboy magazine, but she has insisted that she will never do nude modeling.
Fuentes appeared on shows such as Dream On, The Larry Sanders Show, and Cybill. From 1994 to 1995, she hosted her own talk show, Daisy, on CNBC. She was the host of America's Funniest Home Videos for three seasons. She hosted The ALMA Awards, Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve, the 1998 World Music Awards, the 1999 Billboard Latin Awards, and the Miss Teen USA, Miss USA, and Miss Universe pageants. Katja Thater is a poker player from Hamburg, Germany. She plays gambling online and professional poker and has in recent years acquired a reputation of a poker pro on the European poker circuit. Her introduction to poker happened in 1999 in a way few can imagine. She was required to play a limit poker game on behalf of her husband, in which the stakes were high. She played her cards well and came up trumps in top casinos. She never looked back after that win, going professional, playing in cash games.
When she decided it was time for her to start playing in tournaments, her performance suggested she was naturally inclined towards poker. She displayed impressive poker skills at the 38th Annual World Series of Poker - Ladies, in Event #17, held on June 10, 2007, in the No Limit Hold'em World Championship, finishing 5th place and taking home a purse of $49,151. Although she doesn’t like to restrict herself to ladies’ poker, it was her sponsors who put her name down for the event. And of course she took up the challenge with alacrity. It was no mean feat, up against a tough field of 1,286 women competitors and names like Mary Jones Meyer and Susie Isaacs. But Katja Thater did not lose focus and made it to the final table where she finished fifth.
Katja Thater’s crowning glory would be her win in the male dominated arena of the World Series of Poker, at Event #29 of the of the Razz Seven Card, held on June 17, 2007, at the 38th Annual World Series of Poker. She came 1st and won a well-deserved $132,653 as prize money. This made Katja Thater the first woman to win an open WSOP event in over three years. She also created history by becoming the first woman ever to receive the distinction of being crowned at the Rio in Las Vegas.

While Amy Poehler didn't do as well as she'd hoped at the Celebrity Poker Showdown at top casinos, she definitely held her own, taking out poor Hank Azaria with a flush -- and ruining his dreams of winning on his second tournament attempt -- before being eliminated. But that definitely won't keep this girl down: she's nothing if not feisty!
