Marianela Pereyra

Marianela Pereyra is a model, actress, television personality, and was the hostess for the season 3 of Casino Poker After Dark series on NBC, on which she was billed by her first name only. She is the best known for her appearances as a VJ on Fuse TV until quitting. Her casino poker connection is two-fold: as hostess of Poker After Dark Season 3 and as a broadcaster at the 2007 World Series of Poker. Interestingly, Marianela Pereyra graduated from the University of Maryland with a dual degree: one is romance languages and the other in psychology, strangely enough. Marianela graduated cum laude and became fluent in French and Italian.

Like her parents, though, Marianela Pereyra chose a career in entertainment. Marianela came to FUSE ostensibly to host rap/hip-hop shows. She hosted IMX, which later became known as Daily Download. Daily Download was cancelled in late July, 2006, despite being one of the most-watched shows on FUSE. Marianela Pereyra moved over to Get Malled Tour, but it was eventually cancelled, too.

Victoria Coren

Victoria Coren is a writer, broadcaster and casinos online poker player. She writes for a range of British newspapers, has written two books and presents various radio and TV programmes for the BBC and Channel 4. The daughter of the late humourist and journalist Alan Coren and sister of journalist Giles Coren, she is a graduate of St John's College, Oxford.

She was the first woman to win an event on the European Poker Tour, as well as being the first player to win both a televised professional tournament (EPT London 2006) and a televised celebrity tournament (Celebrity Poker Club 2005). She frequents the Victoria Casino in London's Edgware Road, where she plays Texas hold 'em. As a commentator/presenter, she has presented Late Night Poker and The Poker Nations Cup for Channel 4, World Poker Tour for ITV2, and commentated on The Monte Carlo EPT and The Grosvenor UK Poker Tour (Channel 4), Ultimate Poker Challenge (Channel 5), and William Hill Poker Grand Prix 2 (Sky Sports). During her poker career.

She has become a close friend of The Hendon Mob, and mixes weekly home games with frequent visits to two regular gambling online casinos and land based. Coren appeared in five episodes of Late Night Poker, although she never made it to a series grand final. However in Late Night Poker's spin-off Celebrity Poker Club, she defeated Willie Thorne to win the series two grand final before joining Jesse May as the commentator in series three.
